I have worked with many MLM companies for the past decades with the thought of getting financial freedom, being my own boss, have time for my family and also time for myself, however all failed. I have also dream of helping others who have killed all their hopes and dreams in life due to financial difficulties, unsecured jobs, School drop out, and also due to poverty, to revive their hopes and dreams. This has been part of me since I was kid. I never knew where these dreams were going to come from.

I studied Network Engineering at School working as a Network Engineer and IT Specialist in a reputable Company in Ghana for the past 2 years, but I couldn’t meet my goals. Stress, pressure, overtime were all part of me. I met Mr. Francis Osei Aning on the 7th of August, 2011 in my hometown of Techiman for a wedding ceremony. He revealed to me the Lekker opportunity. I was so impressed I joined that day. I took time to study the whole concept, the 5 P’s, and the marketing plan.

I set a goal to become a 2 Star Diamond within 8 weeks. Because LEKKER INTERNATIONAL has place all the tools and business guide I need to be successful in this business, it took only 7 weeks to achieve my goal of qualifying as a 2 Star Diamond.

LEKKER - Fulfilling hopes and dreams! I started my working life as an insurance salesman and later entered into a reputable company in Ghana as a civil servant with the obvious reason to get social security so that my future would be secured. Unfortunately, my salary could not take me even up to the 20th of the month let alone enable me to cater for my family to the level I personally could not attain due to financial constraints. As a result, going for bank loans was normal life for me.

I like reading, especially motivation books. Fortunately for me, I happened to read a book entitled “PATHWAYS TO SUCCESS” written by Pastor Mensa Otabil, that motivated me to do something about my situation. Page 172 of the book talks about TOXIC COMFORT ZONES. It says that “It is possible to be comfortable and unsuccessful. There are people who are poor - and comfortable being poor. There are people who are sick - and are comfortable being sick. There are people who are failing - and are comfortable failing. They are comfortable with poverty, sickness, or failure because they are familiar with it. And because they are familiar with it, it doesn’t exert any pressure on them to change their circumstances. They speak of their impoverished condition or their illness or their failure with foolish words: It’s no problem, It’s cool, Let‘s chill, It’s going to be all right. When people have that attitude, they have reached a toxic comfort zone and they need some good old-fashioned positive pressure.”

I developed a strong burning desire to do something that can change my situation as employee and always going for bank loans in order to make ends meet after reading the book.

I had another opportunity to read two powerful books written by Robert Kiyosaki entitled ‘RICH DAD POOR DAD” and “CASHFLOW QUADRANT”. The knowledge I acquired from these books changed my thoughts and attitude towards how to enjoy financial freedom. I got to know that I cannot enjoy financial freedom which is my desire if I continue to work as an employee alone. Kiyosaki’s Cash flow Quadrant teaches that to become rich, one needs to move from the left side of the quadrant, that is being employee and self employed to the right side, thus becoming a business owner or investor. Since becoming a business owner or investor is capital intensive, the writer suggests that an ordinary person like me who wants to enjoy financial freedom should embrace network marketing because both initial capital and risk associated with it are low but it has a higher returns.

In the light of this, I got myself involved in so many multi-level marketing (MLM) companies that deal in tangible products such as food supplements. In fact some helped me to get extra income that improved my financial status. In spite of the money I received from them I could not succeed as I expected because one has to sell products and purchase monthly ‘volume’ all the time. As a result the majority of my team members who were doing this business on part-time basis like I was doing, could not continue.

In another development, I read a publication in Ghanaian Daily Graphic dated 23 June 2009 about 'What is an Internet business' - which led me to discover another opportunity. The publication begins like this: "Have you ever thought of an internet business as an alternative to a full- time or part-time employment? If not, then you are missing out on a great opportunity that could make you more money than a doctor or a lawyer’s career."

Due to that article I began to search for MLM businesses that do not deal in traditional products, which are purely internet based, that deal in virtual products. This led me into some programs that are matrix or board systems. These are pyramid type form that favour the one who is on top of the matrix or the board. Although I put in the needed efforts it could not bear fruit because such systems promise you huge sums of dollars but it is difficult to achieve. I did everything possible to succeed even to the extent of investing in prepaid vouchers for online registration but it did not work for me.

After many unsuccessful attempts, one day I received a phone call from a Lekker Associate, Mr. Francis Donkor who was also a team member of the matrix program informing me that his friend in Accra had received a business opportunity called Lekker International. This was not product network. Would I be interested? Frankly speaking, I told him categorically on the phone that I wouldn’t do it because I was discouraged.

Mr. Donkor didn’t give up on me and continued to call for some time. One day he called and said that even if I was not interested I should accompany him to Accra and study the concept and the marketing plan of the business with him before he would join. The reason is that Donkor knows my zeal and in-depth knowledge I have in such businesses due to my previous experiences. At this time I had no option other than to accompany him. He paid my transportation fare from Kumasi to Accra. When we got there, his friend called Mr. Koomson took us through the PowerPoint. I perceived that his friend was not a networker so he could not explain it well but I understood it better. I compared Lekker to other MLM businesses such as product and board or pyramid systems and I saw many differences so I told Mr. Donkor that it’s a perfect and powerful business, so I would do it. What motivated me most is the seven (7) rewards and the annual renewal of membership fee. The renewal system indicates that the company has a future because there will be money in circulation all the time to run the business. So it won’t collapse.

I did my registration as soon as we returned from Accra. Immediately, I introduced to a friend and he signed up and I received a Fast Start Bonus of €26 that week which was paid directly into my local bank account. When I got the second downline, I received another Fast Start Bonus and the Team Building Bonus that week. Having received the bonuses, I decided to do the business with all seriousness. Eventually we got to know that Mr. Hosel Atta Amponsah is also a member of Lekker. I know Atta as a skillful networker especially when it comes to online business because we have worked together before. So Mr. Francis Donkor, Abraham Cromwell, my first downline, and I took a decision to meet Mr. Atta so that we would work as team and organize presentations for our members. He also accepted the idea and we started together with Mr Isaac Sarpong.

What has really helped me to achieve this Two Star Diamond rank is that I understand that the WAY UP is the WAY DOWN. So I make sure any time I get a downline, I assist him or her to get downlines up to the third generation. I try to inculcate this idea of helping your down lines up to the third generation to my team members. This is because it ensures consistent weekly Team Building Bonuses.

Lekker is changing my life particularly my financial status. I no longer think of money as impediment to success because before I realize another week has come and there is money in my bank accounts. In fact I can testify that Lekker business can give more money than a Doctor or Lawyer’s career if you put in all your maximum efforts. I hope to travel around the world for free very soon with my travel credit now that I have attained Two Star Diamond. My dream of enjoying financial freedom has started. As a devoted Christian, it is my dream to be a part worker in God’s vineyard. With a Lekker business, I can help to build the kingdom business and also pursue a masters degree to upgrade myself since I’m my own boss. Indeed, I can live life to the fullest because of Lekker.

LEKKER is real business and I would like to encourage those of you who have just joined not be discouraged especially when you introduce it to people and they refuse to join. Accept that there will be challenges. Some will follow you, some won’t but continue and I believe your life will never be the same for being a Lekker Associate if you persevere. When I look back at my life, and in particular the last 6 months, I can see God’s hand directing my path. Thanks to Him I was introduced to Lekker, which has already, in four months changed me and my life.

I started my working life in the banking industry. Fortunately not for very long. I was given the opportunity to step into owning my own business. Immediately I enjoyed the perks of determining my own working hours, however, after a couple of years I found I did not enjoy the staff issues which often accompanies the industry I was in. I wanted to work with people and not have them work for me. I then tried the retail industry and experienced the sting of the competitive market, stock managing and logistics management. It was at this time I told my husband that I wanted a business that had no staff, no physical stock, was not a service business and the reward to effort ratio must be financially favourable. He would laugh and say there is no such business. After we sold the retail shop I spent a year trying to be a house wife. I spent hours on the internet looking for business opportunities or a business to purchase. I was shocked at the expense a person must go to in order to purchase a business that can bring in over a million Rand of profit in a year.

In the last 15 years I had tried a number of different network marketing companies. I found the network marketing concept intriguing. I believed the concept was sound but was not comfortable ‘selling’ products which accompanied these companies, so I was never successful. When I was told about Lekker I was immediately interested. It fulfilled my criteria for my perfect business. However, I was extremely undecided. After much thought, I committed to do it. My husband, Sven, watched quietly from the sidelines to see how long this ‘fad’ would last. After a short while he decided to help me in the business.

Between myself, my mom and Sven we researched Lekker and the people behind it. We were very impressed and in so doing our excitement about the possibilities grew. Sven said the other day that when someone says ‘the skies the limit’, respond by saying ‘there are footprints on the moon!’ I remember being unable to sleep, as my dreams of things I would like to achieve, which I had shelved as impractical and unlikely, re-awoke. I can now make them goals. As our knowledge and experience with the Lekker holiday ‘product’ grows we are excited at what lies in the future. What a privilege to be involved with a company that holds great promise.

Lekker has not only changed our financial future. Being surrounded by positive people has hugely influenced my outlook towards life. I am learning patience, persistence and how to overcome those down moments we all experience at some point. I am hopeful that through Lekker I will be able to touch people’s lives and as I help them change their lives and reach their goals, I will reach mine. I also believe that through this opportunity God will bless me so that I can be His hands to those who need aid.

We met at university as theology students 25 years ago and made a good team from the word go. Got married, and acquired couple of university degrees between the two of us in our quest for true stability in life, only later to realize that although we loved what we did for a living, we never would be financially free while working for someone else. It was obvious that we won’t be able to accomplish our dreams or give our children a real head start in life. At the time we lived in a lovely 3 storey home, drove brand new cars and were so badly in debt that we could hardly breathe. What could we do to save ourselves when we were both already working on average ten hours per day six days a week?

Over a period of 12 years we build three businesses and went through the tough learning curve only small businesses can take a family. Two times we had to start all over again. We also made real good money during this period and finally decided to focus all our attention on our real estate business. Then the property market crashed. The recession was on us and we were in deep trouble. This horrific experience was the beginning of a new life for us as a family team.

141 I have been involved in many Network Marketing Companies over the past 22 years; far too many to even remember all of them. I have always believed in the concept. I believed each time that I would make “this one” work. But you see with all those other networks, I was not DESPERATE enough to change my life. During the past 5 years, I have gone through many trials and tribulations and in April this year Dave Stacey introduced me to LEKKER International. I have known Dave for about 15 years and have grown to trust him implicitly.

When Dave told me that he was leaving his previous Network which he had built to over 20 000 members, to start LEKKER International in South Africa, I told him he was absolutely insane. I am sure there were many people who also uttered similar words to him. I just KNEW that LEKKER had to be truly EXCEPTIONAL for Dave to “give away” his position and weekly income and to start from scratch.

I joined LEKKER and started talking to my people and simply invited them to attend the webinars, visit my website and I gave out a few dvd’s. With Dave being in Cape Town and me being in Port Elizabeth, he was not HERE to help me see anyone. So I was FORCED to send people to the website and use the marketing tools available. THAT is the beauty of LEKKER. I have got Lekker's professional presenters and trainers available 24/7 doing my presentations, doing the Webinars, answering everyone’s questions. What more could I ask for?

We just need to EDUCATE ourselves and others in letting the website work for us. We don’t have to try and re-invent new personalized websites of our own and drive “traffic” of 100 000 people to it. That is not what this business is about. It’s a business of building RELATIONSHIPS with a FEW people and offering them SUPPORT and working with them to help them whenever they need you.

Starting LEKKER in PE was quite a challenge, as I do NOT have any Internet access and I have to rely on Dave to tell me what is going on in my business. On 3rd September, Dave told me that my ELV was 4040. I was sooooo excited. I only needed 960 GV to get to 2 STAR. I have set myself a RHODIUM Challenge and also set myself WEEKLY targets for every Monday until the end of next year. I am ahead of my weekly targets and knowing that I was now so close to being the next 2 STAR, I just simply HAD to make it happen. I sms’d my TEAM associates and asked them to help me. The response I received was AMAZING. THEY helped me achieve 2 STAR. Without MY TEAM, I would not have achieved this, so I want to say THANK you to all of you who helped me achieve this goal. With SPECIAL thanks to Madeleine Mahieu, Leisha and Brian Brooks who pushed me OVER the 5000 ELV mark.

141 "I am a mother of two boys, and it has always been very important for me to share their lives as they grow up. I have never wanted to be in an office all day, and only see my boys for a short while in the evenings. Unfortunately, this was not always possible for me. I was forced to work away from home, and saw very little of my kids. I knew that they were unhappy, and as a mother, this also made me very unhappy.

I started searching for a way to work from home, but still earn a good income. I found that network marketing gives me that opportunity. However, even though I have tried my hand at different network marketing opportunities, I was not always successful. I am an introverted, shy person by nature, and it was very hard for me to speak to other people about my business opportunity.

I have gone through a very long personal development phase, to get where I am today, and I am still learning and developing every day. I have finally found the perfect opportunity for me, Lekker International. I love the travelling products, as it is so unique. We have always wanted to travel, but found that the lack of time and money prevented us from doing that. That is no longer a problem, and we look forward to lots of travelling as a family in our future.

I have also found that one does not always know the people behind a company, the management, and this can lead to problems in the business. With Lekker, I have come to know Michael Faust, his family, and Stewart Fleming personally, and I trust them fully. I know that our business is in the right hands. They have the knowledge and experience necessary to turn this into a very special business opportunity for all.

I have also worked closely with Dave Stacey for the last two years, and he has become a very close friend. I have seen how he works tirelessly to help others, and I strive to follow his example.

I am indeed living the “Lekker” life now. My husband, Tony, was retrenched recently, and we view this as a blessing, because we get to spend much more time together now. Our kids now have both parents at home! We are able to visit our downlines, without worrying about a boss. We can spend more time together as a couple, as a family. On top of that, we have the opportunity to earn a fantastic income, which would never have been possible if we were both working at a job. We also have the opportunity for personal growth and development."

141 "Like most people I started my working career on the wrong side of the Cashflow quadrant! I spent the first 20 years in the corporate world in Human Resources and although I gained some valuable insights into people relationships, I realized I would never get wealthy working for a boss.

I then started my own business and purchased a hotel which I ran for 8 years but found that I had no control over my time and my life. Hoping to find a business system which could create passive income, I purchased a franchise and in a short period of time I had to liquidate the business and lost everything I had built up over the last 30 years. These were tough times with severe financial constraints and life was not easy!

I had been involved with network marketing for about 6 years on a part time basis and decided to take the plunge and do it full time as I could see the potential benefits of the network marketing industry. The next 6 years were a combination of successes and failures but I learnt a lot on what NOT to do! Some of the positive lessons I learnt about network marketing were:

To focus on only one opportunity and give it your full commitment
To select the right people for your business who really want something in life
To support your team to the best of your ability
To attend company events and online presentations on a regular basis so you are fully up to date with the latest developments
To meet and communicate with the key members in your team on a regular basis and hold them accountable for the growth of their business.
To give your time and energy to those people who are committed to their business and not waste time with those people who do not have big dreams and ambitions

In 2008 I had the opportunity of introducing a new network marketing business into South Africa and built a team of over 20 000 members over a period of 18 months.

As a result I had the opportunity of visiting over 20 countries in the last 2 years and recently returned from a two week cruise in the eastern and western Caribbean on the Oasis of the Seas as a guest of Don and Nancy Failla on their annual “unconvention” cruise. This was an excellent opportunity to spend some quality time with one of the top network marketing couples in the world. They have written many books on network marketing and “The 45 second presentation” has sold over 5.5 million copies.

In spite of the success I had achieved in this business, when I saw what Lekker International had to offer in the long term, I had no hesitation in walking away from that business and giving away my position together with the lucrative weekly dollar income to one of my key leaders so that I could focus 100% on building Lekker International around the world. I have every confidence in the long term success of the company because of the high calibre and integrity of the people behind the business.

Over the last 3 years I have built a personal relationship and friendship with Michael Faust, the President and founder of Lekker International and he is a person I have come to know, like and trust and at the end of the day those are the reasons why people will join your business.

Building your network marketing business takes hard work, commitment, dedication and persistence because when you introduce people to your business, you commit yourself to work FOR them to make them successful.
